A BRIDLINGTON organisation which helps families with young children or families in crisis is desperately trying to find someone who speaks Lithuanian.

Homestart is trying to help a Lithuanian family who recently moved to the area but they are unable to speak English.
Senior organiser Claire Reading said: "We want to help the family but we are not able to understand them and they are feeling very isolated.
"We are desperately trying to find someone who speaks Lithuanian who can act as a mediator or translator.
"It will make such a difference."
Homestart is also looking for new volunteers who can offer a couple of hours a week to spend with families.
